Griffin Hewitt is an actor, playwright, book-writer, songwriter, and director.

Originally from Regina, Saskatchewan, Griffin completed his degree at Sheridan College’s Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance program in 2019, before moving to Toronto where he currently lives and works. As an actor, Griffin’s recent credits include Young Sam in the world premier of Beside Myself by Norm Foster and Steve Thomas (The Foster Festival), Cinderella’s Prince/Wolf/Lucinda in Into the Woods (Talk is Free Theatre), and George Wilson in The Great Gatsby (Talk is Free Theatre). Griffin directed and performed the world premier of his play Cyclops: A Satyr Play, as part of the Eternal Ego Festival (Talk is Free Theatre). As a writer, Griffin is also the book-writer and co-lyricist of Flight Path, a new musical following the events of Amelia Earhart’s final flight, and is currently workshopping his solo piece Beach Day.
