Nick Hutcheson

Nick is a freelance producer working on short and long-form content, theatre, installations and festivals.

Nick co-founded the award-winning magazine, boulderpavement from the Banff Centre Press and was the founding producer of Spur, a festival of art ideas, running over 100 events across Canada. He has worked with arts organizations such as SummerWorks, the Toronto International Film festival, the CBC, the Literary Review of Canada and Luminato. He is also the Executive Director and a founding member of the RARE Theatre Company. His projects have been recognized in Cannes (Silver & Bronze at the International Festival of Creativity); Berlin (Grand Prix, Gold & Silver at the Epica Awards); New York (Gold at Communication Arts; Bronze at the Clio Awards); Toronto (Gold, Silver & Bronze at the ADCC’s; Gold at Applied Arts; the Ed Mirvish Award for Entrepreneurship); and, at the National Magazine Awards.
